    What are veneers made from?

Porcelain veneers are made from various types of ceramics. Most often, feldspathic ceramics (porcelain) and IPS E-max glass ceramics are used for this; less often, ceramic veneers are made from zirconium dioxide blocks.
Ceramic veneers are made only in a laboratory from very strong and durable materials, which in their structure are as close as possible to tooth enamel. That is, the finished veneers will look as natural as “your” teeth. The service life of orthopedic veneers is up to 20 years.
There are also composite veneers, which the doctor makes directly in the mouth from a composite material by building on the tooth.
